Fodor's Review

Just 1 km (½ mile) out of the Milford settlement, on the banks of the Cleddau River, this lodge provides Riverside Chalets with either one super-king or twin bed, kitchenette, and spectacular mountain and river views. The lodge serves inexpensive breakfast, or people can cook for themselves in the on-site kitchen. The lodge also offers a hostel with basic but fresh accommodations. The range of rooms includes twin and double rooms with linen (NZ$99), four-person bunk rooms, or larger dormitories. All rooms have shared facilities. Powered and nonpowered campsites are also available. From October to April there is a café offering three meals a day.
