Fodor's Review:
The Chalet's six fully self-contained apartments stretch beside the turquoise waters of Lake Tekapo. All units have refreshing color schemes, along with an individual thematic streak, and range from studio size to a two-bedroom cottage apartment. The best are those with spacious living rooms and lake views; two of the rooms open onto a small patio area and lovely alpine gardens. You can arrange a customized local expedition with the host, an experienced hunting, fishing, and nature guide. Tekapo township is a scenic five-minute walk away.
