Fodor's Review

Invercargill's most famous sight is a 100-year-old hardware store. E. Hayes and Sons has every little thing you can think of. It's totally yin-yang (grandma-grandpa) with one half devoted to little glass lemon juicers and whisks and the other half filled with tools and wheelbarrows. The store alsohas a popular "World's Fastest Indian" exhibit where you can view memorabilia of Invercargill's famous son Burt Munro.
