Regent Theatre
Regent Theatre Review
The Regent Theatre, in a historic building, holds large-scale musicals, dance, and theater performances, and hosts the Royal New Zealand Ballet, the New Zealand Film Festival, and the World Cinema Showcase each year. The highly rated Bean Scené café ($$), in the same building, is a nice stop for dinner (don't be fooled by the tired interior—the food is excellent).
