Ascot Park Hotel Review

The largest hotel in town, a rambling complex with spacious, modern rooms, is a five-minute drive from the town center. It will be a welcome sight if you've just battled the rugged gravel roads of the Catlins. All rooms come with small balconies. There's both a large hotel and a motel-style building, where the rooms open directly to the outdoors (motel rooms have kitchenettes, hotel rooms just a refrigerator and coffeemaking facilities). An on-site restaurant serves traditional and contemporary New Zealand fare.
