Fodor's Review

Paul is an artisan baker who crafts delicious wholesome food on-site as wife Louise fronts the counter to take your order. Porridge, pancakes or good old eggs Benny for breakfast, or how about a venison panini for lunch? If you're looking for lighter fare or breakfast, choose between fresh salads, juices, coffee with a pear and ginger scone. Mindful of vegan tastebuds and those with lactose and gluten intolerances, Paul has created a gooey brownie with blueberries, which you may want to try anyway, since it's so good. Large windows throw light into a warm and homey interior to have breakfast or lunch; chunky wooden furniture with seating for two or twenty encourages conversation with a neighbor.
