SheepWorld

SheepWorld Review

Head for SheepWorld for a taste of life on a typical New Zealand sheep farm. Twice a day there are demonstrations of working farm dogs rounding up sheep and sheep shearing. An ecotrail takes you through the bush, providing information on native trees, birds (and their calls), and boxes of weta, large, ugly—yet impressive—native insects. On the weekends, the farm dogs even herd ducks. Children can take pony rides, and, in August, bottle-feed lambs.
