Fodor's Review

The menu here is inspired by Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine with a strong Turkish influence—and inspired it is. Since opening in 2010, this central city outlet has regularly received local hospitality and business awards. In a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere, Turkish flatbreads, pizzas, and the "grandfather of pizza" (boat-shaped pidezzas) emerge from the constantly glowing wood-fired oven. The menu changes to accommodate fresh, seasonal ingredients,

but signature dishes like chicken Istanbul (grilled chicken breast topped with tomato sauce and halloumi cheese) and Islim Kebabi (mustard-and-herb-marinated lamb rump on roasted vegetables topped with grilled eggplant and beet sauce) are constants. Breakfast brings pancakes, Turkish mueslis, and Turkish breads.
