Anderson's Alpine Lodge Review

In 5 acres of native forest beside Egmont National Park nestles this modern Swiss alpine-style B&B. The trio of rooms includes the third floor deluxe "Alpine Room," with glorious mountain views from a separate lounge area. On the second level two ensuite rooms "Tui" and "Fantail" (named for two of the native birds you'll encounter in the delightfully landscaped garden) open out to balconies where you can enjoy your morning coffee. Cooked or continental breakfast is included. The lodge has a log staircase, wood-burning fire, and wooden deck.
