Fodor's Review

Nestled harborside, this restaurant has big windows with the best views in Raglan. When orca come into the harbor, as they do from time to time, it's possible to see them from your table. Brunch is served all day (Orca honey-roasted muesli, brioche, or creamed mushrooms, for samplers), and light meals, including fish soup and burgers, are available at 5. The evening menu brings out the chef's creativity; his signature is braised beef cheek with balsamic pickled onions

and garlic mash. Dishes come with recommended wine matches, with selections from international and Kiwi wineries. Orca also offers a casual bar, where you can watch the sunset over the harbor, play a game of pool, or listen to live music on weekends.
