Fodor's Review

This grand old Edwardian B&B is surrounded by the Bushy Park Trust native bird sanctuary. The 222-acre lowland rain forest is entirely fenced, excluding animal predators and providing a safe haven for many rare species. Accommodations consist of six spacious bedrooms (with shared bath); guests also enjoy the use of a formal dining room and several lounges. Note that Wi-Fi is available, so if you tire of bird calls you can resort to Twitter. Rates include continental breakfast, and dinner can be prearranged. A bunkhouse and campervan sites cater to those who prefer something more basic. On summer days, the bird sanctuary is open to visitors and a small café operates.
