Terroir Restaurant Review
The massive cedar doors, high circular roof, and open wood fire give this well-regarded restaurant at Craggy Range Winery a rustic character. Although the menu is loosely country French, "rustic" here is far from unsophisticated. Dishes such as Hawke's Bay lamb shoulder, pomme puree and ratatouille with white anchovy are mouth watering. From the eclectic dessert menu the gingerbread with lemon thyme semi freddo and rhubarb comfit is an appealing choice. On a warm evening, you can dine on the terrace with views of Te Mata Peak.
