This delightfully private, restful retreat within the trees of Frasure Reserve is a great place to spread out and use as a base for a few days. Bordering on luxurious, the three spacious two-bedroom, self-contained villas are the pride and joy of owner-designer David Foreman, who also landscaped the gardens. Each house has a full kitchen with dishwasher, dining and living areas, and a secluded garden. Wood furnishings dominate, and Māori and Pacific prints and quilts adorn the walls and beds. Two villas have showers, hot tubs and laundry facilities; one has a shower and bath. Each villa has a private wraparound veranda overlooking the creek, the bush, and many fruit trees (help yourself). A two-night minimum stay is required.
