Ellerslie Flower Show. The Ellerslie Flower Show was originally held in Auckland. Since 2009 it has been held in Christchurch, recognizing the city's contribution to the gardening world since 1916, when it was named "The Garden City". It's a five-day extravaganza held in March each year in Hagley Park. You'll see some great gardening ideas and designs by some of the world's top garden designers.
