Old Glenmark Vicarage Review

Once a real vicarage, Old Glenmark is now a funky rustic accommodation suitable for families, with lots of rough-sawn timber and colonial trimmings, providing a very comfortable base while touring the area. The Wicked Vicar, the Vicar's Mistress, and the Divine Daughter are not members of the staff at this pleasant Victorian homestay, but wines are produced from their small vineyard. There's a full kitchen, bar and sound system, an outdoor fire pit and an indoor hot tub. This place is popular with local Cantabrians so book ahead.

    Old Glenmark Vicarage Review

We stayed in the barn, and, oh, what a barn! Tons of space and privacy, a kitchen equipped to serve 20, a hot tub, artsy decor, and a wall of doors that opened out onto the lovely grounds. Janette and Damian were delightful, even offering us a private tasting of their wines. They have clearly put a lot into the renovation of the main house as well.
