Fodor's Review:
Surrounded by 5 acres of landscaped gardens, this Kiwi take on a French chateau even has its own boutique vineyard that will soon produce its own wine. The main building has an indoor water garden that wraps around the main entrance and foyer. Rooms are spacious, and all have a view of part of the greenery. Honeymooners gravitate to a special turret suite. Free golf rounds are offered at the Hagley Park golf course across the road.
