Fodor's Review:
You can go either modern or old-fashioned in your choice of rooms here. The Tower Building's rooms are contemporary, whereas the adjacent Old Government Building has suites in an Italian Renaissance style, complete with stained glass and dark-wood paneling. The rooms in both blocks have recently been refurbished. The OGB also has the sports facilities, heated pool, spa, and sauna in the basement, and Maddison's Restaurant on the ground floor. Watch out for international rugby players, as this is where some of them stay when there's an All Blacks match on at Jade Stadium.
