Fodor's Review:
The adage that great things come in small packages holds true for the George. In the spacious, modern guest rooms a crisp, monochromatic color scheme weaves through everything, from the bedside notepads to the luxe bathroom products. Lovely details continually crop up, such as the magnificent brass handles on the entrance door and the verdigris brass banister. Adjacent to the Avon River and Hagley Park, it's just a short walk to the Arts Centre and downtown shopping. The two on-site restaurants are top-notch.
