Fodor's Review:

Starting in 1916, New Zealand pilots learned how to fly at Wigram Airport. The airport's old hangars now hold exhibits on aviation history, flight simulators, and 28 classic aircraft, with more being restored behind the scenes in other hangars. To get here by bus, take the number 5, 81, or 82 and walk from the Main South Road, just south of the Sockburn Overbridge.
