Fodor's Review:
Generally considered to be Christchurch's top Japanese restaurant, Sala Sala wins praise for its ability to pair wines (including sake) with its dishes. Diners can choose from sushi, sashimi, teriyaki, tempura, teppanyaki, or traditional kaiseki set meals. The teppanyaki bar gives the chefs the opportunity to demonstrate their considerable skills with flames and flashing utensils brightening the night scene. You might not recognize all the ingredients, but you can rest assured they will be fresh and delicious.
