Fodor's Review:
The Arts Centre Saturday and Sunday Market is awash in Kiwi goods, such as handmade sweaters and woolens. Inside the Arts Centre buildings, the Boulevard consists of more than two dozen shops and studios for artisans and crafts workers, from potters to weavers to some very good jewelry makers. The quality of work varies considerably from shop to shop, but this is one of the few places where many crafts workers are represented under one roof. Other boutiques dot the complex as well; all are open daily.
