Fodor's Review:
Surrounded by a tranquil garden, and just a two-minute walk from the town and harbor of Akaroa, this charming Victorian manor house still has its original ornate plaster ceilings and marble fireplaces. You'll find fresh flowers in the spacious and pleasantly decorated rooms; four have whirlpool baths. Luxurious feather duvets and pillows are a nice touch.
