This beautiful bed-and-breakfast is in an Edwardian town house in the heart of the city opposite the High Court. It's close to parks, art galleries, and the museum. The house was bought by its owners to save it from demolition, and they've made it a very elegant and comfortable place to stay. It has lovely furniture and the menu is mostly organic. The owners know about restaurants close by and are happy to make reservations and point you in the direction of good tours and places to visit. Braemar is quite busy so contact them well in advance. Pros: Beautiful historic building, charming hosts. Cons: None really.
