Fodor's Review:

Chef Geoff Scott earned a following with discerning foodies in his time at the Hilton's White, and they have followed him to this shop-front restaurant. It has a warm, intimate feel, with long filmy curtains and velvet-covered chairs. Specialty local produce prepared with elegant flair is Scott's trademark. Start with savory cones filled with smoked eel pâté, beef bresaola (Italian cured and air-dried beef) and cantaloupe, and ostrich carpaccio. Or perhaps with Clevedon coast oysters chased with a lemon-and-vodka-sour shooter. If fish is your thing, try the main course of seared hapuka served with spinach, ruby grapefruit, Sicilian pasta, crab, and coconut cream. This place is right on the border of Ponsonby.
