Fodor's Review:

Perched on a steep hillside overlooking native bush, this restaurant stands out with its corrugated iron and polished timber exterior. The menu undergoes radical changes from time to time, according to the season. In summer you find the likes of seafood pasta, tuna niçoise, and classic Caesar salad, whereas winter brings more rib-sticking fare such as lamb shanks. You don't have far to go if you want to walk it off in the Waitakere Ranges. On Sunday afternoons you may want to forgo the walk and listen to live jazz.
