$$$$, Little Oneroa
Fodor's Review:
An internal spiral staircase leads to the Lighthouse, a two-story suite on the top floor of a turret. The glass doors of the day room fold right open onto a wraparound deck overlooking the golden sands of Oneroa Bay, where boats moor and the swimming is great. From the bedroom on the first floor the view is as spectacular. A long central room, with doors onto the sail-covered deck, divides this boutique hotel and gives onto a cozy sunken lounge. In the Bridge Room, up a flight of stairs, bifold windows off the sunporch frame a view of the bay. If you go for one of the three Boatshed Rooms, leave the louvred doors to your private deck open, for fresh sea air as you sleep. Owner Jonathan Scott, a former chef, prepares dinners by arrangement, served in the Long Room, on the "jetty" outside, or delivered to the Lighthouse suite by dumbwaiter.
