Peace and Plenty Inn

Fodor's Review:

Antiques brought over from England are scattered throughout this lovely B&B which is a mix of luxury and also simplicity. The largest room, the Windsor, has a high antique English pine bed and a small but charming bathroom with a Victorian claw-foot tub. Conversely, the smallest room, decorated in blue and white with a brass bed, has a larger bathroom with a full-size claw-foot bath. For a view of the city, ask for the upstairs Waitemata room. Children are welcome with under-five free. Pros: Lovely atmosphere, good food, close to Devonport. Con: Some may find the antiques too fussy.
