Fodor's Review:
Walk around a classical marble statue in an Italianate courtyard to reach the door of this Victorian villa, one of four original villas built on this street. A kauri-floored hallway leads to a large conservatory-style dining area looking over a deck and rooftops, with a peep of Rangitoto in the distance. The two front rooms have bay windows looking onto the courtyard, and original fireplaces. A third upstairs is smaller but elegant with a mosquito net draping the bed. The two rooms downstairs have a private deck that gets the morning sun. Parnell Village is a five-minute walk away, and the Link bus stops at the top of the street.
