Perched on the end of Princes Wharf, the Hilton resembles the cruise ships that dock alongside it. White walls and neutral furnishings in the chic, clean-lined rooms let your eyes drift to the view, best in the bow and starboard. Each room has a piece of original art—and a teddy bear. The hallways are painted chocolate on one side and white on the other, presumably to aid navigation. The hotel's restaurant, White, is one of the best in town, and the Viaduct Basin is within a five-minute walk. Pros: Lovely views, good rooms. Con: Ships mooring nearby can be noisy.
