Hilton Auckland Review

Perched on the end of Princes Wharf, the Hilton resembles the cruise ships that dock alongside it, with white walls and neutral furnishings in chic, clean-lined rooms that allow your eyes drift to the views, which are best in the bow and starboard. Each room has a piece of original art—and a teddy bear. The hallways are painted chocolate on one side and white on the other, presumably to aid navigation. The hotel's restaurant, White ($$$$), is good, and the Viaduct Basin is within a five-minute walk.
