Fodor's Review:
Hotels with much higher room rates must envy this hostel's location just behind upper Queen Street. It's a few minutes' walk from the lively area of Karangahape Road and close to the bus circuit. Most rooms have a view over Auckland toward the harbor, but the best outlook is from the sundeck and common room. All share bathrooms. Bunk rooms take three to six people, and there are single, twin-bed, and double-bed rooms, too. Luggage storage and tour booking are available. Pros: Close to K Road, well priced, harbor views. Con: Lack of privacy.
