Dress-Smart

Fodor's Review:

Dress-Smart is a whole mall of more than 70 factory outlets and is the place to go for high-quality, low-priced goods. As the name suggests, it started as a clothing mall, but it has recently doubled in size and diversified. You'll find books, records, children's toys, bags, jewelry, and housewares. Expect to pay 30%-70% less than you would regular retail. Take the inexpensive shuttle service (0800/748-885) or, if you're driving, take the Penrose turnoff from the Southern Motorway; then follow the signs to Onehunga. This is the heart of Auckland suburbia, so a detailed road map will help. Dress-Smart is close to Onehunga Mall.
