The name of this restaurant and bar group comes from the islands that lie between New Zealand and Tonga. The restaurant focuses on seafood, which is unsurprising given that it is owned by a fishing company and is close to the water. The head chef, Peter Thornley, is recognized for his thoughtful cuisine, and the service is good. The stunning roof garden literally brings the outdoors in. In the more casual brasserie, which can get awfully noisy, seek the kitchen's advice on the catch of the day. The cool Trench Bar is known for its club nights, when well-known DJs spin and the crowd gets down into the wee hours.
