AJ Hackett Bungy—Auckland Harbour Bridge (Westhaven Reserve, Curran St., Herne Bay. 09/361-2000. www.ajhackett.com) is the only bungy (New Zealand spelling for bungee) site in Auckland. The company operates bungy jumping off the Harbour Bridge ($100) year-round. You could also sign up for their Harbour Bridge Experience, a 1½-hour bridge climb ($100) with commentary on the history of the bridge and the region. There are three trips a day and booking is recommended. Views from the bridge walk are outstanding.
