Robert Wan Pearl Museum

Robert Wan Pearl Museum Review

Pearl pioneer Robert Wan's lovely museum is one of a kind. Here you'll see a pearl-encrusted prayer book that belonged to Charles II of France (AD 840-870) and, among other treasures, a copy of the rosary beads (with 57 pearls) presented to Pope John Paul II in 1987. There's also a retail section selling single pearls, jewelry, and Wan's line of skin products that contain extracts of nacre, the mother-of-pearl shell. Groups of two or more can arrange a free-guided tour with five days' notice.
