Place To'ata Review

This huge waterfront square, about half a mile south of Place Vaiete, is the venue for the Heiva festival dance performances. International rock concerts are also held at the outdoor stage, which can hold 5,000 people. At quieter times it's the place to sit and watch all the harbor activities including the outrigger canoe teams training for race events. There are a few outdoor take-out snack bars operating in the afternoon and at night.
