$$$$ | |One of the appellation’s grande dames, with its expansive, manicured gardens—featuring more than 1,000 roses—this splendid winery has a restaurant that takes you on a gastronomic journey via a seven-course Discovery Menu that is, naturally, inspired by the wine as well as local, seasonal ingredients. You could call it Margaret River on a plate. There's also the Terroir Menu, a four-course sampling of the best of the region, including produce from the on-site Kitchen Garden. The dining room decor features antique wooden furniture, comfortable wing-back armchairs, and soaring cathedral ceilings.
