Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse
Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse Review
At the northern end of the park stands Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, open daily 9–4:30 (last entry at 4); school and public holidays daily 9–5 (last entry at 4:30). Fully guided tours of the lighthouse cost A$15. A 1½-km-long (1-mi-long) trail leads from Cape Naturaliste to Canal Rocks, passing rugged cliffs, quiet bays, and curving beaches. This is also the start of the 138-km (86-mi) Cape-to-Cape Walk. Four major cave systems are easily accessible. The Cave Works display center at Lake Cave acts as a central booking office for Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse and the cave system that includes Jewel, Lake and Mammoth caves—individual cave tours cost A$20 each. A pass for all four sites including the lighthouse costs A$60, while the Grand Tour Pass for three caves costs A$48. Cave Works is open daily from 9–5.

Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. The view from the top of the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia and only a10-minute drive south of Augusta, allows you to witness the meeting of the Southern and the Indian oceans. In some places this alliance results in giant swells that crash against the rocks. In others, small coves are blessed with calm waters ideal for swimming.
