Broadwater Beach Resort Busselton Review

Sunny public areas and extensive sports facilities make this one of the best accommodation choices on the Geographe Bay beach strip, especially for families with energetic children. Choose from romantic king rooms, to one bedroom appartments, or two and three bedroom villas which offer a lounge, dining room, and kitchen. Many rooms have superb ocean views. The casual restaurant serves fusion cuisine using fresh local produce, cheeses, and olive oils. A selection of Margaret River wines complements the meal.

    made for a family beach vacation

    I have to be clear that I stayed here in late winter, which is a poor time for beach activities. I also stayed for only a weekend between business meetings. That being said, I think this location would be great for a family vacation or for a longer stay. Even the smaller rooms have a small patio and a kitchenette. For people who want to cook for themselves, there are gas barbecues, and a grocery is very nearby. For people who have wet or messy clothes from the day at the water, there is also a free laundry.

    There is easy access to the beach. The beach is a very narrow strip, and in late winter, there was a thick layer of seaweed.

    If like me, you like a location where you can walk to restaurants, this is not the right place. Except for the places run by the hotel, there are few options unless you drive into Busselton, at least during the off season.
