This wilderness retreat peers over a cliff edge and gazes into the ocean, giving the impression it's incredibly remote while only being about an hour and a half drive—or a shorter helicopter flight—away. Luxury villas and more modest safari tents dot the red dirt landscape, connected by environmentally friendly boardwalk and edged with herb and vegetable gardens the on-site chef uses in his seasonal dishes.
