Oliver's on James Street
Oliver's on James Street Review
Watch the Northbridge world pass by from this restaurant and pizzeria, which is conveniently located next to Cinema Paradiso, an independent, foreign and alternative film cinema. If you have a Paradiso movie ticket (www.lunapalace.com.au) you'll get a 10% discount on your meal, except on Wednesday and Sunday, when they have other meal specials. Alive with laughter and conversation, Oliver's offers indoor and alfresco casual fine dining. Choose from a large selection of wood-fired pizzas prepared right in front of you by British-born head chef and proprietor Wayne Willsher, or select from the main menu with options ranging from char-grilled steaks to freshly grilled fish. For an interesting selection try the Tapas Plate, small items to share that may include sauteed chorizo, salt and pepper calamari, tempura prawns, and wild mushroom or Pecorino arancini.
