Coco's Riverside Bar and Restaurant Review

Overlooking the Swan River in South Perth you can't miss Coco's Riverside Bar and Restaurant as you step off the ferry heading toward the Zoo. A varied menu includes interesting mains such as Kalbarri pink snapper fillet, Szechuan-spiced calamari with green papaya, soy-and-sesame pickled daikon and nam jin, or char-grilled O'Reilly's lot sirloin with Madeira jus.While you gaze at the fabulous view across the river to Perth's CBD, ponder your choice of wine from the extensive list that includes many of the best labels from the Margaret River region.

    I went twice

    This restaurant has an excellent view of the city - directly across the river from the central business district. On both visits I was very pleased with the quality of the food. Like most places in Australia, Coco's is not cheap. However, some of the dishes are available in half portions, which is often enough, especially if you also plan on desert. If you drive to Coco's, allow extra time to find parking.
