Within walking distance of Perth's central business district, this hotel overlooking the Swan River is one of Perth's best. Standard rooms are spacious, with neutral earthy tones and veneered Tasmanian oak cupboards. The higher-priced Regency Club rooms and suites (on the top two floors) have stunning views, complimentary continental breakfast, and evening drinks and canapés. The newly renovated Conservatory, a sitting area with modern furniture and a fountain under a large domed atrium, is a civilized spot for relaxing. Weekends are the best bet for reduced room rates.
