Art Gallery of Western Australia
Art Gallery of Western Australia Review
Founded in 1895, the Art Gallery of Western Australia is home to more than 17,000 treasures, including one of the best collections of Indigenous art in Australia. Other works include Australian and international paintings, sculpture, prints, crafts, and decorative arts. Free guided tours run at 11 am and 1 pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, and at 2 pm on Friday and 1 pm on Saturday. The 12:30 pm Friday's Focus tour examines one particular artwork. Admission to the Gallery is free although donations are encouraged. An entry charge may apply to special exhibitions.
