Fodor's Review

Near Yellow Water Billabong, this facility has light, airy lodgings looking out over tropical gardens. Budget quarters—with bunks and shared baths but no phone or TV—are also available. The Barra Bistro and Bar typically has barramundi on the menu, along with crocodile spring rolls and kangaroo skewers. A general store provides essential groceries and goods. Gagudju Lodge Cooinda is the base for the world renowned Yellow Water Cruises, where crocodiles, birds, fresh-water

mangroves, and exotic tropical trees are regular sightings.
