Ethos Eat Drink Review
Ethos is the newest restaurant by one of Hobart's most trusted fine-dining restaurateurs. This time it is slow-food Australian tapas and high-quality Hobart-style comfort food. Housed in an historic building (it was formerly a stable) in the heart of the city the eating rooms have serious charm. The food is outstanding: flavors of local produce prepared simply. Think slow-cooked lamb belly with roasted artichoke and celeriac remoulade. Every part of the service is worth trying, from wine to dessert, including housemade chocolates and tea mixes.
