This opulent grand manor, convict-built in 1829 and home over the years to many Hobart notables, is within walking distance of the city center, but far enough removed to feel like a sanctuary. The courtyard garden is a fine place to relax, as is the fireside common room, where you can sip a glass of wine before retreating upstairs to one of the many rooms with private hot tub.
