There are information kiosks throughout the city, including Circular Quay (corner of Alfred and Pitt streets), Martin Place (at the corner of Elizabeth Street), and Town Hall (corner of George and Bathurst streets).

Countrylink, the state rail authority, is a good source of Sydney and New South Wales travel information.

The Sydney Visitor Centre is the major source of information, brochures, and maps for Sydney and New South Wales. There are two locations: the Rocks and Darling Harbour. The Tourism New South Wales Web site also has accommodation and food guides, maps, and what's on.
