¢-$$$, Thai, Surry Hills
Fodor's Review:
Start with a cool cocktail in the minimalist bar, where Sydney's high life gathers around low-slung tables. Then make for the dining room, where the hip crowd jostles for a position at one of three giant wooden communal tables -- it might be trendy, but the food is terrific. Chef Martin Boetz aimed to make this restaurant a leader among Sydney's Thai spots, and managed to score a double whammy: a smoldering bar scene and an outstanding eatery. His duck, venison, tuna, beef shin, and pork hock each marry style with substance. Reservations are not accepted for dinner.
