Hotel 59 & Cafe

¢-$, Kings Cross

User Rating: ***** 4.8

Fodor's Review:

In its character as well as its dimensions, this friendly B&B on a quiet part of a bar- and club-lined street is reminiscent of a European pensione. Simple, tastefully outfitted rooms come with high-quality beds and linens, as well as wooden blinds over the windows. Access to the four floors of rooms is via a small staircase, and there is no elevator. Despite its proximity to the heart of Kings Cross, the hotel has a relaxed, serene atmosphere. There's a two-night minimum stay; book online for cheaper rates.

We loved this place, definitely would stay there again.

This was a great little B&B. If you are looking for a nice place to stay that won't cost you an arm and a leg, this is the place to stay! The rooms were nice and clean. The owner George was very nice and he helped us with directions and tips on where to go. What we really liked was that breakfast was included in the hotel rate already. Sydney is expensive (compared to Canada) and breakfast can cost on avg $7-15AUD per person. So we saved roughly $15-30 per day and enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone.
