Fodor's Review:
The fashionable and famous (including celebrities like Mick Jagger) just adore perching like seagulls over the swimming pool at the south end of Australia's most famous beach. The bar is a scene unto itself, with a tasty menu of bar snacks like polenta chips and oysters, and killer cocktails like the Icebergs T—a proprietary mix of vodka, Nocello, crushed mint, and chilled black tea. Once you move into the restaurant and situate yourself on a low-back suede seat, check your reflection in the frosted glass and prepare to indulge in sophisticated Italian creations like Livornese-style fish stew and grilled quail with grape salad.
